Abbey Road

Today after lecture Rachel and Sue and I decided to go to Abbey Road! We met up with Franz who had been wandering around Kingston all day and caught a train into London and made our way to Abbey Road. There were so many tourists trying to mimick the Beatles picture that the cars were getting pissed! My favorite part was outside of Abbey Road studios where people had written all over the walls different lyrics and signed their names....so I followed in step and Rachel and I wrote the lyrics from our favorite songs (All you need it Love....) and signed our names. It was pretty cool just being there and seeing all of the peoples names and the songs they love.

Anyways, I just finished eating dinner and I think we are going out later. All of my friends are going to Scotland on one of the schools optional trips but I am not going and I am regretting it a lot. I didn't sign up for it because it was so expensive ($450) but I am rethinking all of that too. When will I ever be able to go and do the things they are doing like swimming in the Lock Ness Lake and going to the Warwick castle and learning how whiskey is made. Oh well, I will just have to get over it and make the best of it. There are plenty of things I still want to see in London so I will just use this as a relaxing weekend. Maybe I could even talk Franz into going to a musical with me? Or a concert in Hyde Park. I think I can find something to do...I am in London....
